The Kyte XL Windforce is the flagship of the Holtkamper range — the largest and most fully-featured inflatable folding trailer tent in the world. The "XL" provides an extended living space of approximately 26 m², and the "Windforce" designation means it features Holtkamper's patented automated setup system: a powerful fan inflates the tent with air pressure (not inflatable tubes) using three simple buttons — setup, stop, fold-down. Camping-ready in approximately 15 minutes. This unit comes equipped with a king-size bed (210 x 155cm) with slatted base and luxury cold foam mattress, the unique pole-free floating awning (supported by a single carbon fibre mast — no loose upright poles or guy ropes), a Master Class bamboo kitchen with 3-burner gas hob and 40L compressor fridge, and a Kids Tent XL for additional sleeping. Built on an AL-KO braked chassis. The patented Membrane Airco dual-layer roof eliminates condensation in all conditions.

The Holtkamper Kyte XL is the same flagship body and living space as the Kyte XL Windforce — approximately 26 m² with the unique pole-free floating awning — but with manual gas-strut assisted setup rather than the electric WindForce system. This makes it lighter (approx. 500 kg kerb weight vs 550 kg for the WindForce version) with greater payload capacity (approx. 250 kg). Setup is still easier than any competitor thanks to the gas-strut assisted frame design, taking around 30 minutes. All other premium features are shared: ECO 100% Egyptian cotton tent cloth, Membrane Airco dual-layer climate system, stainless steel and carbon fibre frame, AL-KO braked chassis, and Pack-N-Go storage access system. Holtkamper Kyte models hold their value exceptionally well — even 10+ year old units command strong prices.

The Holtkamper Flyer is a legendary model — first launched in 1983, it set the world record as the fastest-erecting folding caravan at 32 seconds including front awning, a record that still stands after 40+ years. The hard-top lid lifts up and folds over to become the floor of the living area, while the double bed slides out to reveal a spacious dinette. At just 350 kg kerb weight, it offers an exceptional 400 kg payload — the best payload-to-weight ratio in the trailer tent market. The compact folded dimensions (220 x 157 x 102cm) make it easy to store in any garage. Features include the Membrane Airco climate system, ECO 100% Egyptian cotton tent cloth, Greenbox Kitchen (lockable to chassis), under-bed tent, seat cushions, table, and an Adventure Tent (detachable, usable standalone). This model is discontinued — the current entry-level Holtkamper is the Astro (€17,995 new).
