About the Cabanon Malawi DL
The Cabanon Malawi DL is a compact two-berth trailer tent in very good condition. The Malawi features a pram-hood style opening — the large double bed (220 x 145cm) folds out from the trailer with raised slatted base and mattress. The "DL" Deluxe specification includes a cooker unit with sink and 3 gas burners. The full awning with zip-in groundsheet provides a spacious covered living area, and the maximum standing height is 2.30m. Canvas is premium Cabanon cotton (235–290 g/m² walls) with PVC groundsheet (500 g/m²) and hot-dipped galvanised steel frame. This is the earlier-generation model — Cabanon now sells the updated Malawi 2.0 range. At £3,995 (reduced from £4,995), this represents excellent value for a quality French-built trailer tent from a manufacturer holding three government quality certifications.

Cabanon Mercury DL
Used (2022)The Cabanon Mercury DL is a spacious four-berth trailer tent from the renowned French manufacturer — handmade in Dunkirk since 1959. The "DL" Deluxe specification includes a kitchen with 2 gas burners, grill, drawers, and stainless steel sink housed in a push-out extension. The Mercury features two separate 2-berth bedrooms, each 210 x 145cm with raised slatted bases and mattresses, plus greater than average headroom. The full awning measures 4.4m x 3.5m (central height 220cm) with a 2.0m fixed front sun canopy — totalling 5.5m depth of covered space. Three large ventilated windows with protective and privacy flaps. Canvas is premium rot-proof, waterproof cotton (290 g/m² roof, 235–290 g/m² walls) with PVC groundsheet (500 g/m²). Chassis is fully galvanised hot-dipped steel forged at Cabanon's own factory. The 2022 model year makes this a recent-production unit with excellent specification.
