Swift Group is Europe's largest leisure vehicle manufacturer and the UK's number one caravan producer. Founded in 1964 by Ken Smith in Hull, East Yorkshire, the company built its first caravan — a 10ft tourer called 'The Ten' — and sold it for £289. Today, Swift operates from a large factory complex at Cottingham, near Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, with annual turnover exceeding £200 million.

Swift's growth came through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions: Abbey (1992), Sprite and Eccles (1994), and Ace (2001). After more than 60 years of continuous production, Swift remains a privately held, family-oriented company with deep roots in British manufacturing.

Every Swift caravan includes the Swift Command intelligent control system, developed with Sargent Electrical and standard across all ranges. Swift Command monitors and controls lighting, heating, water, power, temperature, humidity, and vehicle location via a touchscreen panel and companion app (Bluetooth on-site, internet remote access). Higher ranges feature a 7-inch LCD touchscreen; mid-range models use a 4-inch LCD; entry-level Sprite models use a simpler 12V control panel.
