2017 Bailey Unicorn Cartagena

This 2017 Bailey Unicorn Cartagena is a used twin-axle, four-berth touring caravan. Part of Bailey's well-regarded Unicorn range, the Cartagena is built using the Alu-Tech construction system with a GRP-skinned 'Polar white' bodyshell, and comes equipped with Alde wet central heating — a feature that sets it apart from many caravans at this price point.

The front lounge features a vertical sunroof for natural light, with pleated blinds and flyscreens fitted to all windows for privacy and ventilation. The four-berth layout provides flexible sleeping arrangements while keeping the daytime living space open and usable.

The Cartagena's kitchen is well specified for a caravan of this era. A Thetford Caprice gas oven and grill is paired with gas hobs and an electric hotplate, giving you multiple cooking options. The Dometic 190-litre fridge and freezer provides generous food storage — larger than many comparable models. An 800W microwave completes the cooking setup.

The washroom includes a Thetford C260 cassette toilet, a sink and a separate shower cubicle, keeping the shower area self-contained and the rest of the washroom dry during use.

Alde 3020 wet central heating uses perimeter radiators to distribute warmth evenly throughout the caravan, and also provides hot water for the kitchen and washroom. A Truma 100W solar panel supplements the electrical system, and the 40-litre onboard water tank means you don't need to carry external containers. External BBQ and mains connection points are fitted for outdoor cooking convenience.

The twin-axle setup runs on 14" alloy wheels with a spare wheel included. Towing stability is well covered with both an AL-KO AKS 3004 stabiliser and an ATC electronic stability system, complemented by AL-KO shock absorbers. An AL-KO jack is provided for levelling on site.

A Status 550 directional TV aerial and DAB radio with USB connection are fitted, with provision for a television.
