2026 Swift Sprite Major 4 EB

The 2026 Swift Sprite Major 4 EB is a new 4-berth single-axle touring caravan measuring 25' long with an MTPLM of 1,378 kg, pairing a rear island bed with convertible front seating and a central washroom. It offers a practical layout in a lightweight package that suits first-time caravanners and those looking for an affordable tourer.

Built on an AL-KO Vario X chassis, the Sprite uses Swift's SMART construction: a timber-less 'PURe' polyurethane framed bodyshell with polystyrene insulation and GRP outer skins (25mm sidewalls, 32mm roof). The 44mm sandwich floor has a GRP outer skin, ply upper, and a Ravatherm core. A hail-resistant bonded GRP roof and full-height GRP rear panel with LED light clusters complete the shell. The caravan meets EN1645 Grade 3 thermal insulation standards and holds European Whole Vehicle Type Approval.

It rides on 14" Edge alloy wheels with a steel spare, and features a grey graphics scheme, chrome grab handles, a surface-mounted impact-resistant skirt, and fully double-glazed opening windows. The one-piece entrance door has concealed hinges and a chrome handle.

Inside, the 1.95m (6'5") headroom provides a spacious feel. The new 'Cherub' soft furnishing scheme is fitted with sprung seat bases and tri-foam backrests, set against Sangallo Elm and Toro/Grau woodgrain accents and Grey French Oak scratch-resistant floor vinyl. A new panoramic front sunroof with an integrated curved blind system brings in natural light.

The rear island bed features an exclusive Duvalay Duvalite Strato mattress with a platinum support layer and memory fibre, mounted on an aluminium frame for strength and under-bed storage. Beech slat seat and bed bases have sprung hinged tops for easy access. Sectioned removable carpets (bleachable) cover the living areas, and all windows have blinds and flyscreens.

The kitchen includes a Thetford thermostatic oven and grill with a three-burner gas hob (glass lid with auto gas shut-off), a Dometic 10-series 98-litre under-counter fridge with freezer compartment, a stainless steel sink, and a freestanding table.

The central washroom has a boutique-style wash basin unit with cupboard and mirror, an Ecocamel Jetstorm showerhead with on/off button for water efficiency, new 'White Stipple' marble-effect shower wallboard, and a Thetford electric-flush toilet with an 18-litre wheeled waste tank.

Dual-fuel heating is provided by a Truma Combi Boiler with a digital programmable controller, delivering blown-air warmth to areas under beds, seats, and the washroom. The 12V control panel manages battery state, lighting, and the water pump. A high-flow onboard pump with chrome-effect taps supplies semi-rigid fresh water pipes, while large-bore underslung rigid waste pipes handle drainage.

Electrical provisions include a 25-metre mains hook-up cable, 25-amp switchmode charger/transformer, LED interior lighting, chrome-effect sockets and switches, and an FM/DAB radio with USB, Bluetooth, and auxiliary input. A Status 570 directional TV/FM aerial with booster is fitted.

One-key high-security locks and a deadlock on the entrance door provide physical security. A VIN CHIP identification system and CRiS identity labels deter theft and assist recovery. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are fitted as standard.

Overhead lockers have positive catches with chrome handles for secure storage on the move, with shelves in selected lockers. Seat bases use spaceframe construction with full front access for larger items.

The Lux Pack is available for an additional £995 and includes a microwave, AL-KO AKS 3004 hitch stabiliser, carpet set, and TV aerial.

A £500 deposit contribution from DF Capital is available when financing any 2026 Sprite caravan (T&Cs apply).
