2026 Swift Sprite Alpine 4 DB

The 2026 Swift Sprite Alpine 4 DB is a new 4-berth single-axle touring caravan measuring 21'2" long with an MTPLM of 1,263 kg, designed around simplicity, practicality and lightweight towing. It is well suited to first-time caravanners or those looking for a compact, budget-friendly tourer. The Alpine 4 DB is a new layout for 2026, featuring convertible front seating, a side dinette with fold-up bunk, and a corner washroom.

The Sprite uses Swift's SMART construction with a timber-less 'PURe' polyurethane framed bodyshell, GRP outer skins (25mm sidewalls, 32mm roof), and a 44mm sandwich floor with a high-rigidity Ravatherm core. The hail-resistant GRP roof is fully bonded, and the full-height GRP rear panel carries LED light clusters. It achieves EN1645 Grade 3 classification for heating and thermal insulation, and holds European Whole Vehicle Type Approval.

The exterior features a grey graphics scheme, chrome grab handles, a surface-mounted impact-resistant skirt system, and 14" Edge alloy wheels with a steel spare. All windows are fully double-glazed, and a one-piece entrance door has concealed hinges and a chrome handle. The AL-KO Vario X chassis includes an overrun device and carabineer breakaway cable.

The interior has 1.95m (6'5") headroom and features the new 'Cherub' soft furnishing scheme with sprung seat bases and tri-foam backrests. Sangallo Elm and Toro/Grau woodgrain accents complement a Grey French Oak scratch-resistant floor vinyl. A new panoramic front sunroof with an integrated curved blind system brings in natural light.

Fixed beds use exclusive Duvalay Duvalite Strato mattresses with a platinum support layer and memory fibre, mounted on aluminium bed frames. Beech slat bases with sprung hinged tops provide easy under-seat access. All windows have blinds and flyscreens, and a concertina-action door flyscreen is fitted.

A Thetford thermostatic oven and grill with a three-burner gas hob is included; the hob has a glass lid with auto gas shut-off. A Dometic 10-series 98-litre under-counter fridge with freezer compartment and a stainless steel sink round out the kitchen. A freestanding table is provided for dining.

The corner washroom has a boutique-style wash basin unit with cupboard and mirror, an Ecocamel Jetstorm showerhead (with on/off button for water efficiency), new 'White Stipple' marble-effect shower wallboard, and a Thetford electric-flush toilet with an 18-litre wheeled waste tank.

Dual-fuel heating comes from a Truma Combi Boiler with a digital programmable controller, delivering blown-air warmth under beds, seats, and into the washroom. The 12V control panel manages battery state, lighting, and the water pump. A high-flow onboard pump with chrome-effect taps feeds semi-rigid fresh water pipes, and large-bore underslung rigid waste pipes handle drainage.

Electrical provisions include a 25-metre mains hook-up cable, 25-amp switchmode charger/transformer, LED lighting throughout, and an FM/DAB radio with USB, Bluetooth, and auxiliary input. A Status 570 directional TV/FM aerial with booster is also fitted.

One-key high-security locks and a deadlock on the entrance door provide physical security. A VIN CHIP identification system and CRiS identity labels deter theft and assist recovery. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are fitted as standard.

Overhead lockers with positive catches and chrome handles keep items secure on the move, with shelves in selected lockers. Seat bases use spaceframe construction with full front access for storing larger items.

The Lux Pack is available for an additional £995 and includes a microwave, AL-KO AKS 3004 hitch stabiliser, carpet set, and TV aerial.
