New Holtkamper Trailer Tent - 4 Berths - 2012 - £10,995

Holtkamper have been manufacturing very high quality tents for over 80 years. So concerned are they with quality that since 1990 they have been using their own ECO 100% cotton tent cloth to ensure a level of waterproofing and durability that cannot be rivalled by other makes. Avoiding issues with leaking, heat and dirt are of the utmost importance to the Holtkamper Quality Programme and so you will find the Cocoon bursting with features to guarantee your satisfaction, for example, all seams are double stitched for longevity and the zips throughout the trailer tent are all heavy duty, waterproof YKK zips to stop any rainwater getting in.

The Holtkamper Flyer trailer tent is quick erect so you can have the trailer open and canopy over your head in just a few minutes. The clever design means the awning has no separate poles and the roof/canopy is integral to the main tent canvas. You have a separate front panel that can be zipped in and also a heavy duty zip in groundsheet. As standard the Flyer comes with an additional sun canopy extension, the front panel can also be zipped into here to make the interior space very large indeed!

The Holtkamper Flyer is 6 berth as standard and has a raised double bed for 2 and the hard top area for 2 more, the extra 2 berths come from the Adventure Tent which is standard with the Flyer. The Flyer has a centre area also which can be used for seating with a table.

The Adventure Tent is a 2/3 berth tent which attaches to the side of the Flyer by the hard top area. It creates a space for the children to sleep and play that is away from the main awning. The Adventure Tent can also be used as a stand alone tent, this is ideal if you might need a smaller tent for quick trips away or even for children to use separately when they are older.

Holtkampers' patented Membraine Airco system is also on the Flyer as standard. The system is a 2 part roof which is zipped together, this means it will insulate better in the colder weather but it really works excellently in the sun. When the sun is on your tent you can separate the 2 parts of the roof with some small poles, the first part is a thinner material which will let any warm air escape your tent, the second part is Holtkampers' Eco cotton, this is a thick material and will block the sun creating a cooler shadow onto your living area.

The Flyer has a Al-ko chassis and 13-inch alloy wheels with branded tyres. The trailer is so compact that you need nothing else than your standard car mirrors. When you are parked up, the trailer tent can be locked on to the tow bar with the optional Al-ko lock. Your Holtkamper Kitchen can also be securely locked to the chassis.

New Holtkamper Trailer Tent - 4 Berths - - £14,490

The Holtkamper Kyte is amazingly simple to erect and is an innovative trailer tent packed with many patented designs and gadgets. The most exciting of which is the rope-free, pole-free awning.

The Kyte's pole-free awning is exclusive to Holtkamper and you wont find anything similar on any other trailer tent in the world. The awning 'floats' above the ground with no need for loose upright poles for support, thus giving you the use of all the available space inside. There is also a front panel available for the Kyte to enclose the awning to protect you from adverse weather conditions. The suspended carbon mast keeps he entire awning taut, even during storms; all you need to do is tighten the outer ends of the awning, it requires no ropes at all. Bert Holtkamp, the Kyte's designer said, At our 'test rock' off the coast of Normandy the Kyte had some very stormy conditions to contend with. The pole-free awning is built in such a way that simply nothing can go wrong with it. The endurance test proves that beyond doubt. The awning remains connected to the mast when erected and when folded away so positioning the mast is quick and simple and being made of carbon fibre ensures the mast is both incredibly strong and also very lightweight.

Avoiding issues with leaking, heat and dirt are of the utmost importance to the Holtkamper Quality Programme and so the roof of the Kyte is very special. The pole-free awning runs seamlessly into the roof extensions which have been especially designed for the Kyte. There are no loose poles for these, they simply fold in and out on a hinged frame. These roof extensions have a variety of purposes. Firstly, they shield the windows and side walls from direct sunlight and rain and secondly, they prevent the side walls from getting too dirty as rain doesn't run down the walls. This is beneficial as dirt combined with moisture is the biggest cause of mould forming in tent fabric. However, the roof of the Kyte really excels itself with the Holtkamper Membrane Airco Tent System.

The Holtkamper Membrane Airco Tent System is a worldwide patented system for ventilation, insulation and the prevention of condensation; air conditioning for your trailer tent and once you use this you will never want to do without it! The material of the Kyte is already designed to reflect the sun and heat but the Membrane Airco System takes this even further. The roof is actually made from two layers of material and this is how the system works. In normal or cold weather conditions you leave the two layers zipped together and the system works automatically. The 'climate chamber' between the two layers works to prevent condensation in rainy conditions and to provide insulation in cold conditions. In hot weather you unzip and separate the layers using a few small poles. This causes several effects. The hot air inside the tent rises up through the first roof layer and is blown away by the wind, whilst at the same time the upper roof layer is creating a shadow over the inner roof which prevents the sun from further heating the air inside the trailer tent, leaving you with a cool and comfortable living environment.

The Kyte is suitable for any size family; whether there are two or five of you the Kyte can be tailored to suit your needs. Inside there is a large double bed with a slatted base for comfort and to allow air to circulate to prevent condensation. To further prevent condensation the bedroom area also has windows that can be opened and a huge ventilation wall with mosquito netting. There is then the option to fit an extension that provides you with another two berth sleeping room plus space for a wardrobe or toilet. Alternatively, the Kyte can be supplied with a modified side panel which will allow the three berth adventure tent to be fitted.

Storage is no issue in the Kyte; in fact the entire body of the trailer is storage space for all of your belongings. By lifting up the bed base you gain access to the massive 1500 litre luggage space underneath and there is a further 250l of storage space under the soft top when the trailer tent is folded away. The Kyte also features the Holtkamper Pack-N-Go System. This means that when the trailer tent is folded away the storage space under the bed can still be accessed. All you have to do is unzip the cover and the bed and canvas easily lift together. This is very quick and convenient, especially when you realise something you need has been packed away!

The kitchen supplied with the Kyte is built into the body of the trailer and fixed in place so there is no lifting or difficult manoeuvring into place before use. The kitchen unit itself is beautiful and fantastically equipped; it features a 3 burner, gas hob with a stylish glass plate, a practical (optional) water supply and a fridge. Furthermore the Kyte kitchen features two spacious shelves, fitted with plastic boxes, for storage and there are two large flaps that lift to reveal a large 'kitchen hold' where you can store everything to hand in practical Curver boxes. The awning panel at the side of the kitchen can also be removed if necessary so that you always have a comfortable climate for cooking in.

The trailer itself is built onto an AL-KO braked chassis, with shock absorbers and 14" wheels to ensure a safe and stable towing experience.

New Trigano Trailer Tent - 4 Berths - 2013 - £5,195

The Trigano Olympe is an excellent trailer tent built to cope with even the largest of families. A 4 berth as standard, this trailer tent can be added upon using various optional extras to sleep up to 10 people comfortably, and also provides a large living area. Despite its size the Olympe is still incredibly easy to erect, thanks to the pre-installed frame, and can be unfolded and ready to use in just 20 minutes.

The Olympe is not only practical but durable too. This trailer tent is made from top quality cotton that is treated to prevent mildew formation and decay. The seams are all stitched with a high quality thread that will not give way and so the Olympe is built to withstand almost any weather conditions. The trailer itself is made from PVC which will not rot and so this ensures your trailer tent will be good to use for many years, allowing you to enjoy many holidays.

Not content with providing enormous amounts of space and being made to an excellent standard, the Trigano Olympe also offers maximum comfort. The beds are foam mattresses on slatted bases; so comfortable you will think you are in your own bed. The bedrooms also have an inner roof to regulate temperature and flyscreen windows to allow air circulation. A new feature for 2012 is the central bedroom. This is a kit that can be purchased to turn the central cabin into a third bedroom. Further sleeping area is also available under the bed bases by using underbed tents (optional extra).

In the living area the front panels and one side panel can be removed allowing the awning to be opened up fully when the weather permits, or they can be zipped in and the shutters closed to offer protection and privacy. Another new feature for 2012 are the optional flyscreen panels for the doors and side of the trailer tent. These can be zipped in to allow the air to circulate on hot days whilst keeping insects out. The zip-in groundsheet also offers protection from the damp ground and insects, all of which contributes to your comfort.

The trailer itself is fitted with an AL-KO braked axle and tow hitch as standard which provide the best road-holding qualities, ensuring that you even have a comfortable towing experience.

To complete your Trigano Olympe trailer tent you may be interested in the range of optional extras available. There is a kitchen unit which fits onto the back of the trailer which provides you with a sink, hob, grill and storage space for all of your kitchen equipment. The Trigano Odyssee offers an excellent balance of quality, space, design and functionality ensuring it remains a popular model year after year. The Odyssee has a pre-installed frame which enables the trailer tent to be fully erected in just 10 minutes, meaning you have more time to relax and enjoy your holiday. The Odyssee is made from high quality cotton that is durable and will last for many years, regardless of the weather conditions it is subjected to, and it is also treated to prevent the material from decay or the formation of mildew.

There are many features on the Odyssee to ensure your comfort. Both beds have foam mattresses on slatted bases so you can enjoy the comfort of a true bed whilst camping. This, combined with the inner roofs of the bedrooms which maintain a comfortable room temperature, means you are guaranteed a good night's sleep. A comfortable temperature in the trailer tent is also maintained by the PVC body of the trailer and the flyscreen windows in the bedrooms allow excellent air circulation.

New for 2012 is the sunroof. A large panel in the roof can be unzipped and rolled back to reveal a large PVC panel which allows maximum light into the trailer tent making a light and airy living space. Another new feature for 2012 are the front door panels which can now be completely removed rather than just rolled back. For an additional cost you can also have the new flyscreen panels which can be zipped into the doors and side panels allowing the air in on hot days but keeping the insects out.

The Odyssee has many storage facilities. One bed base is easily lifted, using a hydraulic strut, to reveal a large storage area for clothing or baggage. There is further space under the other bed that can be used for storage or to extend the trailer tent to a 5 berth by using an underbed tent (optional extra). Yet more storage or sleeping space can be obtained by fitting an annex (optional extra) to the side of the trailer tent. The standard kitchen offers plenty of space for all of you cooking equipment.

Another new option for 2012 is the smaller kitchen unit. Rather than the large, standard kitchen unit you can purchase the new kitchen. This is still equipped with a sink, hob and grill like the standard kitchen but is smaller and more lightweight. When not in use the kitchen slides onto runners under the lift up bed base and so reduces any need for heavy lifting.
